Groups Ablaze!
is a lifestyle and relational evangelism process that is based upon
seven Biblical principles which each congregation
or group may contextualize to fit their local setting. It serves as
a centerpiece of a larger Congregational Mission Revitalization strategy.

Dwight Marable, project consultant
Dwight Marable, has been intimately involved with evangelism outreach
in 25 countries where exponential conversion growth has occurred. He
has led seminars and conferences that have equipped over 25,000 leaders
in Asia, Africa, Latin America, Europe, Soviet Union, Canada and the
USA. As the creator of Groups Ablaze, Dwight is concentrating his experience
and research in evangelism to enhance the outreach potential of congregations
and districts throughout North America. Dwight is consulting with LCMS

Terry Tieman, National Director
of Task Force on Mission Revitalization
Terry Tieman began serving as the Director for Mission Revitalization
for LCMS World Mission in February, 2007, as well as continuing in his
role as Mission Executive for the Mid-South District. Terry's experience
in the Parish and in the District has focused on revitalizaing congregations.
His training in congregational consulting is an essential part of the
Mission Revitalization Process, of which Groups Ablaze! is an integral

David Born, Interim Executive
for Congregational Mission Revitalization
David Born serves as staff support for Revitalization Ministries of
LCMS World Mission. His task is to encourage personal evangelism and
revitalization of congregations in North America on the basis of his
piloting the process in northeast region, where he also serves as Director
of Missions. Working with Dwight Marable Terry Tieman and Regional Missions
personnel, David is supporting evangelism through small group ministries
throughout the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod. This supportive role
includes coordination of the national Task Force on Revitalization,
maintaining the web site and acting as a liaison between the Revitalization
